Full-Time | In-Office Position | Monday–Friday
Simpson Properties, a locally owned and operated commercial property management firm, is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team. This role plays a key part in maintaining the financial health of the company by ensuring that vendor and contractor invoices are processed and paid accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
Review, verify, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system
Match invoices to purchase orders and contracts
Prepare and process payments (checks, ACH, and wire transfers)
Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable records
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Communicate with vendors regarding billing questions and payment status
Assist with monthly closing procedures and year-end reporting
Support internal departments by providing timely financial information
Qualifications
2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience (commercial property management experience a plus)
Proficiency in accounting software (Jenark or Yardi experience preferred)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
