Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Flagstaff, Arizona is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.
Position Overview:
Work closely with the Director of Agronomy and Superintendents from both our courses. This job will include crew management, overseeing of a multitude of projects on both courses, and irrigation/fertilizer responsibilities. The assistant will fill in when needed in the absence of the superintendent, and will cover multiple roles during our open (summer) season as well as our closed (winter) season.
Requirements:
Degree in Turfgrass Science and Management is helpful, but not absolutely necessary.
Some prior knowledge of crew management, irrigation operating systems, fertilization schedules is helpful, but we are willing to train in those areas.

Toro irrigation knowledge is helpful but not absolutely necessary, we are willing to train individuals on the particulars of our set up on both courses at Forest Highlands.
Compensation:
$65,000 – $80,000 per year.
Medical/dental/vision, 401k matching, uniforms, some employee meals, and potential for annual bonus.
