Job Description

An industry-leading company in Boca Raton is seeking a Controller to oversee daily accounting operations and partner with multiple business units across the organization. • Salary up to $150k

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the review and analysis of the general ledger, financial statements, bank reconciliations, accruals, and adjusting journal entries in accordance with GAAP
• Prepare financial statement analysis and provide insights to management
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
• Review detailed monthly, quarterly, and year-end work paper packages, including journal entries and general ledger analysis
• Manage SOX internal controls
• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes and procedures

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 10+ years of accounting experience
• CPA designation (preferred)
• Public accounting background (preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
