Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work  ON-SITE with our client in Oldsmar, FL.  Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of electronic circuit card assemblies, RF circuits, and subassembly units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences; lays out and assembles units for production electronic equipment according to designs and specifications.
  • Adjusts and calibrates electronic assembly systems as needed. 
  • Corrects malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components as directed . 
  • Uses hand and small power tools and various measuring and testing devices to perform job duties. 
  • Determines types of tests to be performed, approves and suggests modifications to testing equipment, and analyzes test results to evaluate the performance of products and equipment.
  • Assists engineers in designing and developing test procedures for new products and recommends product improvements or manufacturing modifications. 
  • Monitor and verify quality by statistical process or other control procedures.
  • Troubleshoots to the component level. 
  • Utilizes schematic diagrams to isolate failures on Analog and Digital circuitry. 
  • Works in a dynamic production environment and can produce at a high level, supporting customer schedules.

Pay: $19.00 - $30.00 / hr. 

Hours: 4/10 hrs/Week. (1 st shift).

Length: Contract (12 months ).

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in testing electronic assemblies.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in State devices and micro-circuitry.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the use of various measurement devices, including Digital Multi-meters, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, frequency Standards, and signal generators .
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in component-level troubleshooting of solid-state, digital circuits.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Flying probe/high power test.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in electrical troubleshooting, Electronics circuit card troubleshooting, and testing.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree.
  • Able to use Microsoft Suite and other data collection programs to document maintenance actions accurately.
  • Familiarity with Radar Systems.
  • Vibration and Thermal ESS experience of both circuit card assemblies and subassemblies.
  • Ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks.
  • Basic Computer Skills.
  • Read/write English.
  • MIL-STD-167-1A (Vibration).
  • Thermal.
