Now Hiring: Forklift Warehouse Worker - AM Shift

Location: Northwest area of Houston.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Overtime as needed).

Pay: $17-$18/hour, based on experience.

Openwork is partnering with a nationally recognized, employee-owned company to find a reliable and experienced Forklift Warehouse Worker for their Houston facility. What You’ll Do:

• Operate both sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move products and materials.
• Handle order picking, packing, and shipping with accuracy and efficiency.
• Receive, verify, and organize incoming inventory.
• Keep detailed records and use scanning tools to track orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and report any issues promptly.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 6 months of forklift experience; certification is a bonus.
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. and staying active throughout the shift.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic computer/scanning tools.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and twisting.
• Manual dexterity to operate forklifts, scanners, and other warehouse tools.
• Work in a warehouse environment subject to seasonal temperature changes.
• Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, safety footwear, and protective eyewear.
