Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Travel/Contract Eve Shift

Watertown, NY 13601

Job Type:

Contract | Travel Assignment
Duration: 13 Weeks
Hours: 36 or 40 hours/week guaranteed
Pay: $34 $37/hr

Shift: Open to either 8-hour evening shifts (3:00 PM 11:30 PM) or 12-hour evening shifts (11:00 AM 11:00 PM).

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and monitor patients for adverse reactions or side effects.
Assist with patient assessments, including vital signs, and document patient information accurately.
Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.

Requirements:

Valid LPN or LVN license in New York State.
Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
1 3 years of experience as an LPN required.
BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
