POSITION: MUSIC TEACHER AT GEORGE J MITCHELL SCHOOL
Join our team of exceptional educators! Waterville Public Schools is seeking a passionate and creative elementary music teacher at the George J. Mitchell School. The ideal candidate will create an engaging, inclusive music program that builds fundamental skills while fostering appreciation for music. We’re seeking educators who:
~ Create a warm, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
~ Build strong connections with students, families, and colleagues
~ Communicate effectively and collaborate within a dedicated school and VPA team
~ Bring creativity, energy, and a student-centered approach to teaching music
~ Must hold a Maine K-12 Music Teacher Certificate (614)
SALARY RANGE: $43,496.90 - $90,934.65 (2024-25 Salary Range, 2025-26 Teacher’s Contract in Negotiations)
