Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP FERC (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission) Module Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of SAP FERC module functionalities, regulations, and best practices. They will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing SAP FERC module to ensure compliance with federal energy regulatory requirements. This role demands an analytical thinker with exceptional critical thinking skills, capable of driving projects from conception to completion.
Responsibilities
- Consulting Services: Provide expert consulting services to clients, including the analysis, design, implementation, and support of SAP Controlling solutions
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with clients to gather and document business requirements, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their needs and objectives
- Solution Design: Develop and propose innovative SAP Controlling solutions that address client requirements and enhance business processes
- System Configuration: Configure SAP Controlling modules (e.g., Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis) to meet business and regulatory requirements
- Integration: Ensure seamless integration of SAP Controlling with other SAP modules (e.g., FI, MM, SD, PP) and third-party systems
- Implementation and Configuration: Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP FERC modules to meet business requirements and regulatory standards
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the SAP systems are compliant with FERC regulations and guidelines, staying updated with any changes in the regulatory landscape
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for all SAP FERC processes, configurations, and customizations
- Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of SAP FERC modules to ensure accuracy and functionality
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders, ensuring they are proficient in using the SAP FERC modules
- Optimization and Maintenance: Continuously monitor and optimize the SAP FERC modules for performance improvements and issue resolution
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and compliance, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of SAP FERC modules with other business processes
- Project Management: Manage SAP FERC projects, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze reports from SAP FERC modules to provide insights and support decision-making processes
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to address concerns and gather requirements
Qualifications
- Education: BS Degree Accounting, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A master s degree is a plus
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP FERC module implementation and consulting
- Technical Skills: Proficient in SAP FERC module functionalities, configuration, and customization. Strong understanding of FERC regulations and compliance requirements
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with a keen attention to detail
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences
- Project Management: Proven experience in managing SAP FERC projects, including planning, execution, and delivery within scope, timeline, and budget
- Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing regulatory requirements and business needs.
- Certifications: SAP certification FICO
