**Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for moving merchandise, receiving and unloading trucks, loading trucks, cleaning the work area, and wrapping and shipping items via UPS and LTL daily. This position requires someone who is hard-working, team-oriented, and self-starting. **Responsibilities** + Receive incoming freight and unload trucks. + Load trucks with outgoing shipments. + Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. + Stock material on shelves and pick orders efficiently. + Process returns from customers and manage returns to vendors. + Operate a Microsoft-based computer system for inventory management. + Utilize an RF gun to pull orders, set up racks, and organize shipments. + Organize the warehouse and set up areas for customer access. + Handle materials of various shapes, sizes, and weights. + Build racks and perform material handling tasks. + Ensure shipping and receiving duties are completed accurately. **Essential Skills** + Experience with RF scanners and forklifts. + One year of warehouse or construction supply experience in shipping, receiving, or both. + Verified reliable attendance and strong work ethic. + Experience in inventory management and data entry. + Strong material handling and general labor skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Flexibility in first shift hours and willingness to adapt to various tasks such as shipping, receiving, material handling, and cleaning. + Ability to assemble racks using basic hand tools. **Why Work Here?** Our company values internal growth, with a history of promoting employees from within. The work environment includes both indoor and outdoor conditions, sometimes with extreme temperatures. Daily attire is jeans and a t-shirt, reflecting a straightforward communication style. Managers expect tasks to be completed on time and accurately, addressing any issues promptly. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Francisco, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
