An ?ACES Enrollee? is a participant in a grant program established through a Cooperative Agreement funded by the USDA-NRCS and administered by NEW Solutions.This opportunity applies to applicants legally eligible to work in the United States.Qualifications:Minimum of 20 year(s) of experience in Historic Preservation, Archeology, Cultural Resources, or related field of study. OR MA/MS Degree in Agriculture, Natural Resources, Agronomy or related field of study.Experience with NRCS Watershed Programs. Expert in producing documents. Valid Drivers License. Required.Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPointARCView (GIS)Duties:Assist the state watershed programs staff technical guidance and review of plans and associated documents. Provide assistance for scientific administration of the watershed programs on archaeological data, archeological resources, and historical preservation.Conducts analyses of issues associated with watershed policies, synthesizes data and information and provides advice and recommendations on resource problems to management and conservation districts including providing guidance on Watershed Programs, Plans, reviews, and assessments; aid conservationists in planning a variety of practices; policy interpretation.30%Provides a review of the watershed and technical services provided by NRCS staff and contractors.30%Provides analytical support for regulatory and policy actions, changes in programs, and specific conservation projects, including contributing work on impact assessments.20%Provide support to NRCS staff in managing watershed projects.
